Hundreds came out to support a secular Europe and world

On 17 September 2011, hundreds came out to support secularism and one law for all.

Speakers at the rally included human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, National Secular Society President Terry Sanderson, and sexual abuse survivor Sue Cox.

Here is One Law for All spokesperson Maryam Namazie’s speech at the rally:

How did the UK get so far out that it is considering Sharia law as a valid legal system? Seems so farfetched in a secular country. I am a Christian, but believe strongly in the separation of church and state. Sharia law and Bible-based dogma have no place in a secular society.
