I am sure that people who have lived under these sorts of laws can understand the threat more vividly. It is curious why those people in favour of the Sharia Law would still live in this country. This could be the result of cognitive dissonance. Since they prefer and enjoy the freedoms that they have in this country, they stay but prefer not to adhere to the British judiciary system which is a necessity for the liberties and freedom in this country. Being a fierce criticiser of discrimination, inequality and supporter of the women's rights, I could personally see why I feel like I am being bullied by having to accept two sets of laws in one sovereign state that I live in. Respecting other's rights shall not be mistaken with withdrawal from yours.

Hi there - i stumbled across your website by chance. In my opinion your website does not set out its message or objectives clearly enough. Personally I cannot agree with the message that your site sends out any more strongly. I feel it both ridiculous and pathetic that the mere remotest possibility of any feasible introduction of sharia law in any form can even be considered for introduction. It is wrong. It really concerns me that radical groups exist where these ludicrous ideals exist. While not wishing to sound racist, the fact we have welcomed people in to our country who willingly wish to undermine our law and have no shame in publicly announcing such intention, to the point at which they are actively marching in protest, makes me ashamed to call myself British. Please by all means send any media to my personal email address: d.briche@googlemail.com and I will actively support any of your future campaigns. David.

In the face of such barbaric religious laws the worst crime of all is when the rest of humanity do nothing.

Well done Maryam! for taking a stand. Will send a donation to your cause
